Hi,
I’m selling my beloved 2007 MX5 Z-Sport.
31,000 miles, almost immaculate, full service history, new MOT, service and tyres, no faults.
I’m based in Richmond West London, I’m initially advertising at £5750 but happy to take sensible offers, I’m not in a great rush and I know it’s the worst time to sell a roadster!
I’m advertising it on ebay here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mazda-MX5-Z-Sport-31K-miles-2007-2-0i-Sport-Special-Edition-Immaculate/333413186526
And I’ve attached a not brilliant picture of it after batting flies for 400 miles, but I’ll take some proper selling-pictures when the sun comes out.
After the first owner it was in a garage for much of its life doing 100 miles a year and the condition reflects that, it’s close to perfect.
I went for the Z-Sport for the gorgeous colour which comes alive in the sunshine, and the high quality white leather interior which I think is miles better than black.
Apologies to those that know already but the Z-Sport is based on the 2.0 Sport which is by far the best base model to go for. This special edition is highly sought after, adds BRG alloys which cost an absolute fortune, white leather interior, gorgeous ebony mica paint, and loads of other subtle extras on top. It comes with heated seats, air con, six speed gearbox that feels like new, engine feels like new too, two keys, leather steering wheel, handbrake and gear knob with hand stitching, Bilstein suspension, limited slip diff, really sporty aluminium pedals, lovely aluminium and chrome highlights and bezels etc that probably only an MX5 enthusiast will spot as different from the base spec but it makes it a really nice package - hence very sought after, people are always talking about the Z-Sport on here and I understand they get loads of attention at the shows etc. This is in concourse condition. Here is the original info for the special edition: http://www.roadster.blog/2013/05/mazda-mx-5-zsport.html and http://www.mx5-mazda.co.uk/zsport.htm
And by the way it’s really quick, and once I had the suspension set up professionally it feels really tight and sporty.
There were only 400 made, I’d be surprised if there’s a better one around but anyway mine’s really a very nice, very honest car.
I found the stock radio to be useless so I’ve installed a double-din car-play DAB stereo, a built in iphone holder, and high spec speakers. I intend to move the actual £500 head unit to a new car but can leave it there for £300 to save the effort of taking it out. Car-play means it fully integrates your smart-phone so you get a 6" touch-screen built in satnav, it reads texts to you, plays spotify through the high-spec speakers etc. All installed like it came out of the factory.
By the way I’ve read the rules and believe I’ve complied, I’m an MX5OC member, please let me know if I’ve missed anything rather than removing over a technicality.
The picture is the only one I could find and it’s covered with dead flies but it does show how the colour comes up in the sunshine. Note also how the headlamps still look like the car is two weeks old.
Feel free to contact me here or via the contact details on the ebay link.
