This is the rough first draft of ideas for this years events, some will definitely go ahead, some may fall by the wayside and others will be added.
Feb, Wed 11th Club meeting, main item on adgenda to tighten up this events calendar. we also intend to hold a film night date to follow.
Mar, Wed 11th club meeting although this may become Room to Race if we get it organised.
April, Sat 11th Technical day at Robert Allen’s with BBQ. Weekend of the 17th-19th MX5oc Spring Rally there will be a trip to this event. Sat 25th there is an AOVC classic show at Titanic and this is also the date for the classic show at the Argory.
May, Sun 3rd Visit to Shanes Castle Steam Fair. we would also like to hold the Walter Young Run this Month. and a couple of wed evening runs (ideas please)
June, Sat 6th Brownlow house show. Sun 7th Mosney classic car show. Sat 13th Cultra hillclimb, Sat 20th Kilbroney show.
July, Sun 5th Terenure show Dublin.
Aug, Sat 1st combined MX5/MG BBQ at Peter’s. Sat 29th Maze Festival of Speed.
Sept, Sun 6th Portrush Air show. weekend of 5th/6th MX5oc National Rally.
This as I said is the first draft of events and there are a lot more dates to be filled, so if anyone has an event or run that they would like to see on this calendar, please come forward at or before the Feb club meeting. Both Steven and I as area coordinators will give as much help as possable to anyone wishing to organise a club run or event.
