2015 ND 2.0 Brake Caliper + Pads upgrade suggestion needed

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __ Brake Caliber & Pads Upgrade
    Fellowmen,
    I’m currently on Stock 17x7J ET45 Mazda OEM Wheels & 280mm Front Brembo Discs.
    What is your suggestion for front brake caliper upgrade + suitable brake pads for road and track use.

Note: I used search function to find answer couldn’t find the right one.

What I can say is that I use PBS pads on my road/track car (Tuned 2013 Fiesta ST) using the stock callipers and discs and that they are great.

You do not say how you use your car but perhaps some ‘Roddisons’ pads on new standard discs would be a big step up.

Most only road, occasional track days

If that is the case then you wont go far wrong with my suggestion.

Is there any suggestion for a front big brake kit without upgrading wheels or just brake caliper upgrade (Red ones pls :grinning:) + suitable brake pads.

  1. Stock 17x7J ET45 Mazda OEM Wheels
  2. 280mm Front Brembo Discs, stock Calipers and pads
  3. Vehicle will be used for road and occasional track days.

Wilwood calipers (4 pot or 6 pot) work but you need a small 3mm spacer for the 6 pots to clear the wheels when using std discs. Bigger discs nearly double the price.
