2015 ND FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS

  1. My model of MX-5 is: __2015 ND 2.0
  2. I’m based near: __Edinburgh
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __Front brake calipers sliding pin.
    After a few weeks not using the car I found the front brake were pulling to the right.
    Disassembled LH front and both sliding pins were seized.
    When removing the pins one pin had what looks like a rubber ring on the end, this was torn on removal of the pin, had to clean and refit the pin without this rubber ring.

What is this ribg for

Can you buy new pins for fitting in old caliper.

Should be what you need? The ring is there to keep the grease in so it doesnt seize. You can give them a ring to see if they will fit the standard caliper but I would assume it does. (I am no expert though!).
