Hi folks touched briefly in thread about new car check your tyre pressures and having brought home yesterday my 2.0 ND I checked the pressures today. They were a tad over at 2.2 instead of 2 bar (a couple of psi in old money).
Later when I went for a drive I looked for the TPMS switch to reset/recalibrate which I do on wife’s mini and I have done on previous cars whether a physical button or on screen setting!
There is no such button or setting on my April 2018 car!
The handbook does not show how to either!
Be grateful from you other lucky ND peeps for advice before I ring dealer later tomorrow?
“After adjusting the tyre air pressures, it may require some time for the TPMS warning light to turn off. If the TPMS warning light remains illuminated, drive the vehicle at a speed of at least 25 km/h (16 mph) for 10 minutes, and then verify that it turns off.”
It’s a statement for when the TPMS light comes on, but I guess it equally applies for when you change the pressures.
There should be a button on the lower part of the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Adjust your tyre pressures then press and hold the button for a few seconds to reset the TPMS.
It’s quicker to Google the answer than to look in the handbook or phone the dealer.

Hi and thanks but it is not there! I have looked everywhere and where you say there is only Traction Control off and Lane departure warning off! I am an experienced petrolhead and familiar with many model cars including MX5 but there is no TPMS button image of flat tyre and exclamation mark! Absolutely puzzled!?
Hi and finally resolved it! There is no TPMS button! The reference in the handbook in relation the TPMS is that it requires an ID Signal:
Switch ignition on then back to ACC or OFF.
Wait 15 minutes.
Then drive for 10 minutes above 16mph.
Then TPMS ID Signal code will have reset!
Can’t see why there is not a button to press as on all my other cars but the principle is the same albeit no waiting for 15 minutes!!!
Be easier to adjust tyre pressure start car press a TPMS button then drive to rest!
Maybe some people do not understand the principle of the system and inadvertently pressed the button therefore removed?
So quite simple really just a matter of sorting tyres, ignition on and off and wait about for 15 minutes before you drive off! Better get a coffee then! Happy motoring peeps and looking forward to the Rally

Hello Touche - I was also surprised to find the absence of that TPMS button on my '18 RF , but I found that entry in the manual that Icehelm has quoted and complied with the direction to drive at a reasonable speed for 10mins. So far, despite adjusting the pressures a couple of times , I’ve not had a problem. This is progress I guess!
Different sun visors, clear rear fog lamp lens and different door mirror cover colour depending on spec I think. Changes appeared with a 200001 VIN serial number.
I’m intrigued by the sun visors. Not that I ever use them but I do feel that the ones on my car are a bit cheap and plastic-y. Any idea what the newer ones are like.
I’ll keep an eye out for cars with a clear fog lamp lens too. That’s an interesting little change.
Also, I read somewhere that the electronic gizmos for the steering have been revised slightly, and that subtle changes have been made to the suspension.
As I only had a couple of short test drives in pre 18 RF’s, I couldn’t tell you if these changes have a noticeable effect.
Lets hope they’ve fixed the crap soft roof. My 17 plate ND has been back in twice for repair but I still have to re-seat the headlining everytime I’ve had the roof down.
