3.5 rear bumper on a mk3

Hello All

I’ve managed to scuff/dent the rear bumper on my mk3. I like the tidier look of the mk3.5 rear bumper around the exhausts and was thinking of getting one from a scrap yard and repainting. Does anyone know if it will fit? I’ve seen somone on here who fitted 3.5 lights to a mk3 and was left with slight gaps so I’m wandering if the bumpers are slightly different around the rear lights as i’m not looking to change these. Any thoughts?

 Not sure around the lights . I cannot see them changing the shape there, BUT you will need to change the tailpipes on the exhaust as the bumper comes back further you will need THESE

Thanks for the reply. I hadn’t thought of the exhausts. I think I need to find out for sure about the lights first. The last thing I’d want is to purchase a bumper only to find that I need £100’s worth of new rear lights as well!

Mx5parts state the 3.5 lights will fit a Mk3

Found this link…Looks like an OK, but not perfect fit. Think I might just try and repair the scuff!
