I currently have the Sanyo Tom Tom ICE, but I’m desperate to change it after living the last year with cables all over connecting my phone to the line in.

I think for the money something like an Atoto F7we looks good value. Just checking with someone who has fitted one of these, is something like this adapter all I’ll need to connect the Atoto to the wiring loom and the steering wheel controls

INCARTEC 29-673 - InCar Tec 29-673 Mazda Steering Wheel Control Interface Adaptor ...

Cheers

I fitted an EONON Q04pro unit and used the connects2 adaptor to get the unit connected to the car and the steering wheel controls working.

Not sure if you will also need a new facia to enable the new head unit to fit in the dash.

If you can live with the Sanyo, why not fit a Bluetooth receiver. It should cost less than £15.

I’d prefer the neat and tidy look of a wireless android ICE so that I can put my phone in the glovebox but still use my streaming services, Google maps, etc.

Just for info - the phone you see in my picture is in a Brodit Holder with a pro-clip.
It keeps the phone safe - charges it when in the cradle - and allows wired android auto.

I went this way because I found wireless android auto was eating the battery - you need the phone connected via bluetooth and wireless at the same time.

You’ll most likely need a facia adapter too, the Sanyo and Alpine nav units are fitted in a different size facia.
Also you’ll need to trace back down the loom behind the Sanyo unit (usually covered in a foam sheath) to the connection needed to link up that set of leads you link to.

An aftermarket fitment, note the shape/size.
