Unfortunately it does go on as this is exactly what happened on our 2nd service.
Whether it’s widespread though?
I’m the type who does their heads in when my car goes in; speaks to the tech doing it (asks for a particular one, too in advance), looks through the viewing window; loads of ‘don’t wash’ stuff in the car etc etc), so they are probably are on edge a bit, like Ofsted viewing a lesson on inspection day.

Nothing to lol about , common practice , techs got to make bonus and service times allowed are rubbish

Maybe, but then at the same time my mother told me that in life to go by my own experiences (as in visually seeing a service before my own eyes, in different dealerships, too),as opposed to what someone else says, which in this day translates to some unknown person on the internet.
