30AE now at home!

What a splendid afternoon. After a fairly long process and a near miss of finding myself in a Lexus ISF, today I brought home my new to me AE30. After selling my brilliant NC to Issac I could then get this car. James if you’re reading this, the beauty is a credit to you, it’s such a wonderful car.

I’d never driven a ND and only sat in one last week. My main concern was would it be comfortable enough as I think I’m 6’1. Pleased to say I fit ok.

The car is in beautiful condition and really is like new. I drove back from Mansfield to Matlock and then on to Sheffield, what a fab drive.

Very, very happy!

I’ll do that, alas I arrived home after 6 in the dark. In Whitby at the weekend, maybe I’ll get a few there.

■■■ is an AE30?

Google is less than no help.

Anniversary Edition 30th (an Orange ND)

Think OP means ‘30AE’. It’s the 2019 orange 30th Anniversary Edition.

Of course … AE30 it is.

Thanks guys, enlightenment at last!

Welcome, I’m glad you find the car enjoyable. As a tall person myself (around the same height as you) it is a tight fit but completely possible to find a good driving position. There are seat lowering kits available too if you need to go that route.

…awaiting pics too

Good purchase, what number is it? I may have seen it on my travels.

Glad you are happy. Its hard not to love such a good looking car. Had a tinge of sadness when I went into my garage this evening to not have the beautiful orange looking back at me. Will be lovely driving that up to Whitby!!

You’ve got awesome eyesight if you can see that badge passing you at 40mph! :grinning:

I have seen and logged the numbers off 66 30AEs and prefer to wait till they are stationary as it makes it much easier to take a photograph of them!!! Once again my OCD surfaces!!!

Hi MIke,

I fit fine and haven’t even had to put the seat fully back, hand in glove an that.

Sorry James I haven’t a garage…… however it will keep me company most days. Driving over to Matlock was joy (44mpg) and Whitby tomorrow, really really looking forward to it.

Im sure your replacement will be fab and as you know you’ve sold it on to real fan.

It is no. 1083

It is 1083 and I reside in S11 Sheffield so often out in the Peaks or driving over to Matlock.

Thanks for sharing the number. It is not on my list but if you go to the national meeting next year I will find it and add it to my records.
