4 Wheel Alignment Day - More pics added 24/02

Just been to see Kieran and he has gone out of his way to make this event great for us.

  1. Free nitrogen fill for all attending, That’s right they will deflate you tyres and refill with Nitrogen for free ( this is worth a fiver on its own)

  2. They are prepared to offer fluid changing on the day for a nominal fee (engine oil, diff oil, Gearbox oil and brake fluid) you will need to provide the oil and filters but they will do the rest.

  3. Bring your own brake pads and they will fit them again for a nominal fee

  4. If you want new tyres then Kieran is offering 35% off all tyres plus a fiver for fitting ( Pirelli P1 185/60 14 £38 + Vat or 195/50 15 £39.24 + Vat) He can get any make but needs to know in advance please.

  5. Tyre changing and wheel swapping

  6. Exhaust Fitting

  7. Free Tea and Coffee

  8. Plus of course the main reason for going the full 4 wheel Geometry setup (Camber, Cast and toe) for £30.00

Basically he has opened the workshop for us and us alone so please support this event.

I have took some pictures below of the facilities.

Cool this looks likes like being a really good day, whats the benefit of having nitrogen in your tyres??

I might have to bring both cars Big Smile. Please pass diections nearer the time.

Paul

The main benefit of Nitrogen in the tyres is its stability, tyre pressures rise as the tyre gets hot thus affecting the handling charactaristics of the car. Formula 1 have been using Nitrogen since 1992 because of its stability.

Nitrogen maintains tyre pressure 3 to 4 times longer than air filled tyres.

The Benefits are

Safer Motoring - Better Road holding and handling

Longer Tread Life - Up to 25% increase in tyre life

Reduced Fuel Consumption - Up to 5% reduction in fuel consumption

No Oxidation - No water vapour or oxygen means no corrosion of wheels

No problem to bring both cars as there will be plenty of time, just let me know.

Kevin

Add me to the list for this. I can’t believe the roads are as slippery as they appear to be right now and getting the alignment checked and sorted would certainly help.

Thanks Feef, Will add you to the list, If you have any friends in the club at your end that fancy coming up with you it would be appreciated.

Cheers

Kevin

I’m just trying to find a reason to be in Norfolk on the 12th Feb (other than I went to School at Wymondham College!)…30 quid seems VERY fair Thumbs up

You & me both! As per my initial post…200 mile round trip though & knowing my luck 6 inches of snow Banging head on wall

Would you accept an interloper from the North Thames region ?

The whole day sounds like it is going to be a tremendous success. Unfortunately it is 220 miles each way according to Google Maps. Wish someone further North would offer the same service; I would be there in a shot.

Jon - try this for an added incentive for the day before - http://www.trackdays.co.uk/calendar/find.aspx?d=2012-2-11&v=Snetterton - now I know you are tempted, especially for £99!!! LOL! I’d even put you up for the night too!

Cheers - see you Saturday!

You could always use it as marketing excercise to drum up business for the Blyton Park Weekend.

All members welcome so please let me know if you want to go on the list.

Kevin

Kevin,

Could you please add my name to the list?

I would also like the Gear Box and Diff oils changed - I will bring the oil and washers and biscuits!

Could I be a bit cheeky and request an early slot? Between 10.00 and 11.00 would be ideal as I need to get back home for 2.00.

Thanks

No problem you are the first to ask for a time slot and given the distance I am happy to sort that for you.

Look forward to seeing you on the day.

Kevin

Hi Kev, i am already on the list but if slots are available a morning one would be very handy.

Thanks

Mal.

 Hi Kev

Pls put my name down for this (afternoon prob by the time I snowplough over from the Fens…) as my wheels haven’t been touched for a while.  Wymondham?  Will bring my passport and may pick up a rose bush on the way home, lovely.

Thanks

Carole (ER)

NoProblem Mal, I will put you in for 09:30 if that’s OK. Not sure how accurate the times will be but I will do my best to accomodate.

Kevin

Hi Carole

That’s great thanks for supporting this, Looks like being a great day.

I will pop you down for say 2:00pm if that’s OK

thanks

Kevin

You, sir, are a gentleman.  Thanks - see you bright and early.

I’d like to pop along to this, but as i’ll be picking up a brand new sport black mx5 less than a month before this date (this saturday in fact) i’ll not really be looking at getting anything done, it’s more that it looks like a nice drive out

Will you be posting the exact address soon?
