4 Wheel Alignment for my MX5 NC

I have a 2010 2.0ltr PRHT Kendo special edition and I live in the Newport Pagnell area.

I looking for a good 4 wheel alignment shop in Milton Keynes or surrounding area

I would be grateful for any recommendations

They did an excellent job on my 25AE in Dec 2023, and not far from MK.
You’ll need to ring up so as to check you can book your car in when the expert has a slot.

Thanks for these two. I’m sure one of them will sort me out

Word of warning: most shops don’t want to align the camber and caster. Check they will do this.

Vincents of Stradbroke (Suffolk) will align your suspension to whatever settings you require and can also offer expert advice for optimisation with the existing springs and dampers on your car.

Thanks for the inputs. I went with Motorsports in Northampton which is closest to me. They adjusted my ride height and did a full four wheel alignment. The car really does feel like it goes round corners on rails. Cost was reasonable and combined with new Uniroyal rain sports the handling is transformed.

For those interested this is the alignment settings

Thanks, will use this as a “fast road” baseline for my upcoming alignment.

Hi, I’m trying to set up my NC with Tein Flex Z on 7.5" x 17 wheels and standard 205 tyres. What ride height and wheels/tyres do you have?

I’m running the standard 17" wheels, tyres are Uniroyal Rainsport 5s. I’ve settled on a ride height of 350mm wheel middle to wheel arch, this give me the best personal compromise on comfort/handling. Tyres are @ 2bar

If it helps, I fitted Flex Zs my previous NC2, running Proline UX100 17" wheels. These were the same 7.5" width as the OEM 17s, but an ET49 offset as opposed to ET55 (so they sat 6mm further out towards the arch).

I ran 215/45/17s on these, but that shouldn’t make a difference to the alignment settings. Ride height was 340mm wheel centre to arch, front & rear.

I’m slightly lower than Stewart with 340F 345R on my NC1.
17" wheels with Rainsport 5s at 29PSI (2 bar).
Coilovers are MeisterR CRD.

I set my height at 340 all round and had it realigned to the same spec. It now drives and handles beautifully.

Very pleased with the Tein btw
