- My model of MX-5 is: MK1 Eunos
- I’m based near: South Wales
- I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: I’ve recently purchased a K reg Eunos and am in the process of wiring in a new radio unit, and I’ve come to the aerial cable which has left me perplexed. It appears to be an 8-pin audio cable rather than a coaxial cable I expected to see. Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions on how to adapt this to a standard coaxial cable to plug into the head unit on the radio?
That’s a DIN plug. Search further and you should find a coaxial. Unless someone in the past has been really harsh and removed it.

Ahhh, DIN plugs, those were the days

Cheers both, had a deeper dig and found the coax cable - Assume this DIN cable is obsolete then? Just going to tuck it away and leave it be.
The DIN plug was for the CD unit mounted in the boot. I guess that has been removed so yes it is redundant.
