Met up with number 2 son on his Ducati 848 at Atcham, near Shrewsbury,me in my 52 reg NB SVT. Along the A5 beyond Llangollen and ‘did’
the ‘evo triangle’, stopping for lunch At the Sportsmanship Inn. Returned via Dollgeau (spelling) and Welshpool, then Bridgenorth, Kidderminster and Bromsgrove. Gunned the motor, red lined it only once and generally gave it the beans. No probs found on return, no oil top up required.
That Ducati’s a beast though! Next day out already discussed - Yorkshire/Derbyshire dales, easily done with an early start.
