A joint visit to Highclere Castle with IOW Group on 11th April 2026

Hi Everyone,

I have just got off the phone from talking to Jeff (IoW AC) and he and oursleves are arranging a visit to Highclere Castle, home of Downton Abbey, on Saturday 11th April 2026🙂

Cost would be approx £22 per person to visit the house and gardens.

Jeff in the small island is managing his members attendance and we are managing our members preferences.

*PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS CURRENTLY CLOSED OUT TO ANY FURTHER MEMBERS JOINING US, AS OF 13TH OCTOBER 2025*

A spreadsheet showing the current state of the nation is given below;

Members who have not paid for the Castle Visit via PayPal by the 31st October deadline will be removed from the table, as it will be assumed you are not joining us for this event!

Apologies for my slow reply but we are currently away on holiday in Guernsey in our trusty Mk1👍

Certainly, you can both join us for this one, I was talking to Jeff earlier this evening and it all seems to be shaping up nicely for this visit and we will be closing out the event for Solent and IOW members very soon, so your timing is perfect.

Thank you for your interest in our visit to Highclere Castle. I spoke to Jeff (IOW AC) who is running with organising this visit and we think we may have reached our numbers between Solent & IOW groups but this will be confirmed very soon via this thread.
