M6 southbound just past Preston this afternoon, someone having a very bad day.
Crikey. I take it people could see that the occupants were safe and sound and not just driving past without checking?
Driver standing well back down the carriageway on his phone looking less than happy and fire engine behind the rangey to our left.

That’s someone’s holiday ruined, hope they were all ok.
Never forgot a family’s caravan on its side in the outside lane of the M5 a few years ago. Distressing sight, all of their belongings were scattered down the motorway as the incident had ripped the side and back of the caravan.
We had in tow our van at the time, it makes you think and be very aware these vans are very fragile when something goes wrong.
