ABERDEEN TO LOCH NESS

Hi guys it’s possible I’ve got to deliver one our fabulous vans to a customer in Aberdeen on Friday :bus::bus::ok_hand::ok_hand:
I’ll be picking up his loan van ,
And will have use of it over the weekend:sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses::bus::bus::bus::bus::bus::bus:
I’ve always fancied going to Loch Ness , so
My question is ,
What’s the best driving / scenic route from Aberdeen to Loch Ness

Cheers guys

Down the side of Loch Ness on the way to Fort Augustus which is the road less travelled there are options worth exploring too, like Foyers.

Hope the floods are not on your route!
There’s so much choice - coast or through the Cairngorms!
Good distilleries and steam trains along the River Spey - up to Keith and left turn down to Grantown on Spey, then Nairn to Inverness - from there you can drive the length of Loch Ness.
Or go west from Aberdeen, to Balleter, then Cock Bridge, Tomintoul, Grantown etc
Just ideas …
Explore. Enjoy! So many routes to investigate.

There is a fantastic cafe in Foyers called Camerons, this is the view from the decking.

We went to Camerons tea room in 2019, it was worth the visit.

Aberdeen cancelled due to bad weather again up Scotland,
So ended up 260 miles in opposite direction , in Devon :bus::bus::bus::bus: with a different van .
Hopefully next week up sunny Scotland :scotland:
