My dash ABS warning light comes on intermittently. What would be the cause of this ?
Most likely a front wheel speed sensor, a fault code read should confirm. Do a search on this forum for the process.

Does a 2004 sport have a fault code facility ?
I believe that it does…
The socket for the obd2 fault code reader is above the fuse box found behind the panel that has a slot about the size of a box of fags below the head light switch and fog lights if you have them or blanking plates if you do not. If you pull that panel out put a torch on the footwell floor and shine it up into the orifice you’ll see the multicoloured fuses and above the box the shiney contacts of the obd2 socket.
The fault was with the front near side unit. A bit of a job sorting it as well corroded but all working fine now.
