I recently bought a Mx5 ND SE+ this model doesn’t come with any bluetooth connection (bit poor considering its a 2019 car) after trying a couple of products i have found that this FM transmitter to be the best.

-It connects to the 12v but has 2 additional usb ports so you have more connections
-I have tucked to cable between the centre console and the dash board so all wires are hidden
-it connects via fm so all ive done is saved the frequency on the cars radio
-it has easy to use buttons when driving
-I have stuck it next to the centre usb/aux so easy to reach
unfortunately my phone or this transmitter doesn’t have a AUX. I did try a bluetooth transimtter that plugged into the aux and the usb but i kept buzzing due to the close proximity of the cables cause interference.
The gizmo I have has a USB output that plugs into the aux in of the head unit. This gives very much better quality than using fm and no hint of buzzing.
So, phone bluetooths to gizmo, cable from gizmo to aux in.
This gives better quality than the inbuilt cd player.
