Advice sought on diagnosing power for a Parrot Bluetooth device

Hi all - I have a Parrot MKi9100 installed in my mk2.5 which over a period of time started to cut out now and again. It went through a phase of only coming on if I accelerated and ended up not working at all.    I’m almost certain it’s a loose wire so I need advice on how to get behind the dash so I can get to the connections.

I think the control module is located behind the side panel of the centre console in the passenger side.  I dont know how to get access to it and because I’m impatient I end up breaking something if it’s not easy Devil

Thanks

If you pop the glove box out (squeeze in at top inner to get stops past dash part then lower it all the way down unclip from right side then slide to right) you may be able to get at it from there, other than that its take the head unit out. If it’s on the right side then undo the panel underneath the steering wheel/above your knee’s. Hopefully your lucky & its just a loose plug somewhere (most kits simply plug into existing loom using ISO adaptors).

Thanks for that, though it’s not accessible from the glove box :frowning:

It’s behind that plastic panel that would be just to the right of the passengers right calf muscle.

If you physically take the glove box out you can get your arm in & down to said area & feel for connections/box/etc, failing that you will have to take your head unit out & attack it from there Big Smile
