hi I would like to put air con in my mx5mk3 how hard is it to do and how much

I’ve never done it but I’d say quite hard. A/C was never available as an accessory for the NC, only a factory installed option. I wouldn’t be 100% sure that the vehicle wiring harness is wired to take all of the air con components TBH.

Robbie may well be correct and if the loom does not accommodate aircon that would probably kill the idea stone dead.

If you are really keen and given the weather of the last few days I can understand why, I would talk to BRSCC MK3 racing teams to see what parts they remove and if retro fitting is a possibility.

I would expect this to be possible but inadvisable - better off changing cars to get the required aircon
