On the assumption that I’m actually looking for a new Mass Airflow Sensor, can anyone help my ignorance and explain why the seem to vary in price (using MX5 Parts as a benchmark) between [£132] (Mass Air Flow Sensor, MX5 Mk3 3.5 3.75) and [£24]
(Mass Air Flow Sensor, MX5 Mk3 3.5 3.75)?

Type error surely, £24 its about right aint it ?

I’m hoping so, I’ve asked them and the response was that one is OEN and the other aftermarket. Sadly, both are described as aftermarket…

Im guessing both come with 12 months warranty… I know where my cash would go

They range in price massively from £23 to £255 on some websites with more well known brands coming in around £65 (Hella) and Denso (£91) on AUTODOC. Bosch is about the price MX5Parts are quoting for the expensive one.

Nothing to lose trying the £24 one and worst case can always then go with Denso from another supplier and still be under the MX5 Parts price. Denso is a massive supplier of parts to automotive industry.
