I would like to know the best combination of alarm/immobiliser that I should use. I have no central locking or ANY sort of theft deterrent fitted at the moment. This is a cost led exercise, so if anyone could solve the age old alchemy of cost against effectiveness I would be forever in theit debt. Thanks
I had a Toad Ai606 fitted in April 2003. Central locking, immobiliser, zone protection with a micro wave sensor. Can have windows wound up when you lock the car and also a remote boot release. No problems whatsoever other than a bunch of kids over here playing “how close can I get before the alarm sounds”. If you pass near the car with the thing armed it chirps at you. About £300 well worth the price IMHO
As this topic is 6yrs old there must be other options on the market now. I have a Mk1 Eunos JDM with no security at all and would like at least some form of immobilisation. Can anyone recommend a system and/or supplier/fitter in the SE London area? I’m not very technically minded so am happy to pay for a fitting service, but who?
