Just wanted to report this issue and fix. The common leaky Gromit under the wind screen wipers was causing my alarm to randomly go off. I only realised this was the issue as I had condensation starting to appear every morning so I checked for wetness and there it was. Did the usual silicone fix dried it all up and problem solved. This was the passenger side and was leaking onto the interior fuse box. After searching for some time for random alarm issues this one never came up once so hopefully will help someone in desperation. We all know how bad the alarm gremlins can be.
