Aldi are selling a telscopic hose attachment with a microfibre mit on the end.
My MX5 was dusty more than dirty, so I used it with no shampoo and it worked a treat .
Had the car sparkling in no time

Dust covered with no shampoo ? I expect that might look micro scratched in sunlight…

I would definitely be using ONR or similar in this case.
No shampoo but lots of water, as it is hose fed.
