Wouldn’t be surprised if its a default email. If so great it mean’s we won;'t be held up by parts not arriving!
That is not the problem. It is a fault with the stability control.
You said this before, but I’ve not seen anything official about it.
Cars in the US are being delayed because control modules issues. No mention of UK cars

Hopefully good news for all of you patiently waiting… Finally my 8 month wait is over! I have just picked up my new Homura from EMG Cambridge. Great service from the team there getting my car ready in a couple of days from its arrival with them. No parts needed changing & mine was built on 28th March.
Good luck to all you guys still waiting for your 5s and hope Mazda pull their finger out, quickly getting cars and parts distributed.

Mine was due on 28th March!!
I think I read the fix was already done by your build date.
I’ve been researching this for 3 months. The fact is that there is a problem, world-wide, with the stability control module on MX5’s built after Dec 24-ish.
I have a letter to that effect from my dealer.
There are numerous members on the main US forum in the same situation.
But, anyway, the good news is that it looks as if parts are starting to flow…
Cool, thats what i was looking for. I didn’t get one (or anything other than waffle!). Hardware issue does make more sense on the wait time.
Do you know if this is one that was waiting at the port or one of the 50 fresh from manufacture that was swapped?

Seems like some good news for the held up cars. My dealer has just emailed to say they’ve started to receive 5’s that were held at the port. Not mine as yet but expecting it soon 
I don’t know if it’s a different car or the original. Hope it is new haha. Ordered in April and it’s all just suddenly happening.
Arriving at the dealership tomorrow and I am collecting Monday afternoon (if all goes to plan!)
It’s here!!! My car is at the dealer. Stability control module isn’t yet but should still be ready for next week!!
Letting the excitement commence now.

Only just seen it, but yesterday also received the email from Mazda to say my car is en route to my dealer.
So shouldn’t be long now.
