Want to purchase some new alloys for my M reg red 1800 MX5.
I have 14" wheels at the moment, but fancy 15". Is there any problem with this and what wheels should I look out for ?
What does anyone think about the 15" alloys from MX5 Parts…
Anyone have any recommendations for wheels…

15" will be fine…
Gold Rota RBs look fab on a red 5. Have a look here post 18 0nwards. Either those or BBS [Y]

Just my humble opinion of course
There is certainly a better choice of “performance” tyres in 15" sizes.
The Mazda 15" wheels that MX5Parts are selling look fine to me. Wouldn’t grumble if they appeared on my car one morning, but seeing that MX5Parts are out of stock on these at the moment that wont’ be happening anytime soon …
Be careful of the weight of some of the cheaper brands, heavy wheels will screw up the handling of your car. Maybe find a nice set of Watanabe 8 spoke wheels on e bay, these are the 15" version

my fav wheel is the oz ultraleggera which is just about the right offset, are beautiful and get loads of good comments and are very light.
You can often get a wheel and tyre deal for reasonable money.
This wheel will enhance the perfromance of the car not detract.
Think about ease of cleaning too. BBS 15’s are ultralight but pigs to clean!
