Please can someone help I am unable to fit my new alternator belt I have released the alternator so that it swings freely as far as it can, and I still can’t get the belt supplied by euro car parts and halfords (continental 4pk 855) on to the car it seems too small. Any help or advice is really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You want a 890… what you have is a power steering belt.

i had exactly the same issue, got the belt you have from eurocar parts, they assured me it was right, but as said above that part is a power steering belt which my car doesn’t even have, i just took it back and asked for the right length which is under a different part number
