Anti roll bar bushes what grease?

Hi

Just a quick question .fitting new anti roll bar bushes on a 97 mk1

I was going to use carlube silicone multi purpose grease to lubricate them

do you think that will be ok

They require no lubrication put them on dry.

If rubber then put them on dry but if they are the sleeved Polyurethane type then the kit should supply any grease required.

If the bushes are the real rubber ones (as OE spec) the DON’T use any normal grease on them…but for easy assembly then you can use liquid soap, which (unlike mineral oil grease) does not attack the rubber. Best to wash any excess off after assembly.

Polyurethane can use a special grease, but soap is also OK with them.
