Those pics look normal. They correspond to the drawings in the service sheets as well - no locking tabs shown or mentioned for the drop links.
The nuts on my NC drop links (front and rear) had a smooth flange and traces of blue thread-lock.
So I added some to the threads on the new links I fitted, mainly to discourage rust and also because I needed to re-use the old nuts for the genuine L&R handed front set.
