Morning all. I’m looking for some advice on bucket seats for my MK2.5 after I did a track day and found myself flying all over the place.
I’ve been eyeing up some sparco r100s as I prefer the idea of recliners than full buckets, just for ease of daily use. A friend as them in an r53 cooper S and I found them extremely comfortable. I’m planning on fitting them to the standard rails with the jass adaptors.
While googling around, I found some people saying that the r100s sit significantly higher than the stock seats, which is an issue as I’m already hitting my head against the hardtop with a helmet on.
I just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with these seats, and what they’d recommend if they do have issues with them.
For reference, I’m 6’1”.
