Afternoon all.
Just gotten home from my first track day at blyton park, in my 5 speed MK2. I really enjoyed it, except about an hour before the end of the day, I had to leave early as my car started jumping out of third gear, seemingly when braking harshly for a corner.
While driving home, I noticed it seemed to do it under extreme engine braking (up a slip road, down a steep hill etc.). Then I had to double de-clutch to get it back into any gear.
I have recently changed to a torsen LSD before the track day, so I’m hoping it’s something as simple as one of the diff bolts being slightly loose, or that the engine mounts needing nipping up. If anyone has any suggestions to the contrary, I’m all ears
