I’m after a good main beam bulb. I have just restored the headlights and wanted something that’s going to be reliable but useful as the yellow lens and basic halogens are not that great.
Same for rear indicator. I have “de-chromed” them with red tint spray so need a strong amber light.
The Osram Night Breakers have pretty good reviews, but they’re not cheap.
Given the difficulty in fitting them, make sure whatever you buy is the right decision, as it’s a pig of a job.
Another vote for Night Breakers (fitted to my mk1 and also my daughter’s Fiat Panda and a huge improvement over standard bulbs).

I restored a spare set of headlights that are not installed on the car so will have to replace the whole units anyway 
I already removed the bumper for my intake install so it won’t be too bad.
