I’m looking to change the suspension on my mk3.5. 2.0 prht
I have been looking at some Tein coilovers over on Bofi Racing I’m just looking for any advice or if anyone is running them. I’m looking at the Tein Street Basis Z and the Tein Street Advance. I’m not looking for a super low stiff as a board ride. Feel free to suggest any alternatives. Cheers Everyone.
Hi, I fitted Vmaxx classics coil overs to my 2006 mk3 to replace the Bilsteins. Easy to fit, relatively nicely made and of course Height adjustable.
I’ve only ever driven mine so can’t comment on comparison with other coil overs, but the drive is tight, firmer than stock but no overly so and all the knocking that I had gone. Handling (with RX8 yellow spot arb and roddisons alignment) is fantastic, razor sharp but still a comfortable cruiser.
Best of all, shade over £400
Have you fitted ARBs yet?
Theyre a great cheap mof if you get some RX8 ones at a good price.
