Anybody have any information about what these wheels are or what there called?

  1. My model of MX-5 is: mk1 1.8is
  2. I’m based near: __ Ipswich
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __

Hiya just looking for some information about these wheels as I’m thinking about maybe powder coating them or having them refurbished and just want to make sure If im powder coating them that there not too special or if they are I will get them refurbished but they look fairly generic so I don’t imagine they are too special just my friend thinks they may be.

Any help is appreciated cheers:)

They are the standard wheel fitted to the very last year of production of the MK1 1.8iS

Thankyou

These though are factory wheels made by Enkei. Only fitted to the 1.8iS, and in Japan, to the VR-Limited and R2-Limited, and in the US, to the last M-Edition, the final STO (“Still The One”)

There were only 2 Mk1 factory 15" wheels; the BBS fitted to RS-Limited and S-Special 2s, and these. Because of that, these are the only 15" wheels from Mazda that are correct fitment for the Mk1. (I’m not including the Panasports fitted to M2-1001s). For those in the know, that makes them fairly desirable, as they ae not that common. Ok weight at 14.5lbs per corner. Worth restoring properly, and not powdercoating.
