Anyone tried one of these to make dashcam install plug and play?

Takes power from the rear view mirror. Of course that won’t get me parking mode. Will need to figure out what connector is on the back of the mirror…

Free delivery, and with a display (annoying?), and 12V option, but bulkier.

My Toyota dashcam was powered from a splice lead from the car road camera (speed sign detection etc) and it worked perfectly.

My auto locking door module on the Yaris Cross is powered in a similar way, by tapping into a lead in the steering column. No issues at all.

The dash cam was a Fitcamx unit from Aliexpress.
