Anyone used DC Performance for parts?

Hello has anyone used DC Performance to order parts in the past; I ask as I am a bit disappointed? I ordered some Bilstein shocks on 3 Sept and told 5-10 working days for delivery. On day 9 I had heard nothing so contacted them and was told there would be a 2 week delay!
I contacted again yesterday 29 Sep and now told another 3 weeks before they are shipped from Germany.
I’ve twice made arrangements to have them fitted and had to change so not very impressed.
Just wanted to blow off steam and wondered if anyone had experience of them, thanks.

I’d get a refund, it’s not on when companies do this when I assume it said it had stock when you ordered ?

Hi Reggie, yep said on the site in stock and delivery within 5-10 working days if any issue they would contact me; then as I said I heard nothing so contacted them. Apparently their factory in Germany let them down.

Difficult as it is and I do sympathise with you.
But to blame the company due to a third party supplier is a bit harsh. (In particular the problems we are all experiencing at present).
Probably the factory had to shut down at some point too which has the domino effect for supply.
You could end up shooting yourself in the foot, as the company in Germany “may be” the sole supplier for the UK and then you will not get them at all unless you can find a company that “actually” has them on the shelf.
IF it was me I would wait for them to arrive and then book to have them fitted.

Hello, it was the fact I have had to chase them for updates regular that is the moan as it says on the site they will ensure to keep me updated with progress at all times?!
I will just have to wait for them I know, just my view that a promised 10 day delivery schedule will now be 7-8 weeks is a bit of a poor show.

I disagree. They said it was a stock item and it turns out it wasn’t.
Get the refund for their sloppy admin practice.

Whether you or I disagree or not, it won’t make them arrive any quicker. I am sure they are all doing there best. :+1:
