Auto locking when driving

  1. My model of MX-5 is: 2.0 ND RF Sport Tech
  2. I’m based near: Solihull
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: Should my MX-5 auto lock when driving? Manual suggests it should but I cannot see any evidence nor find any way to activate/deactivate this function.
    Please save me the embarrassment of asking the dealer.

I don’t believe it does, at least in the UK anyway. There’s walk away locking or whatever it’s called when you leave the car.

Thanks. I’ve tried the walk away locking, but deactivated after my irate wife was locked in when I got out with key in my pocket.
