Random list of cheapo convertibles. Numbskull who wrote the Del Sol profiles suggests that reading a used review of the CR-Z will be useful. Obvious dead certs didn’t come up (MGTF, Barchetta, Z3) because they didn’t come up when they span their wheel of cheap convertibles. The MG is probably quite a shrewd investment, if any of these bangers can be considered an investment. Its easy to imagine a bit of short lived MG mania will occur in 2020 when the new EV MG roadster goes on sale. The MGs won’t get any cheaper, and most seem to be in pretty good nick. Says it all when someone did the so-called analysis, but got the tea boy to write it.
Plus its a way for Haymarket to promote its motoring website, Pistonheads. Pistonheads is probably the last place you should look to see how cheap a car could be.
