Auxiliary oil pressure gauge with alarm?

Hi! I bought my PRHT 2.0 with a nicely pre-rattled engine to save time later. I have a Mazda 6 donor with a 2.5 ready to go, when I have the time but I want to add a little extra safety, especially for track use.

So, can anyone recommend an oil pressure gauge, ideally with an audible, settable alarm? Warning lights are fine but I get pretty target focused on track so I’d prefer a buzzer/shriek. Obviously I could unpick any gauge with a light and relay that to a buzzer but I’m getting old, I’d much rather have something that doesn’t need modified :wink: The absolute ideal, would be an adjustable alarm level so I can tune it to the car’s own normal low idle pressure.

I’ll likely place it in a vent hole but open to anything. The dream would be to replace the OE nonsense with a functional gauge but I don’t want to make it overcomplex.

Surely on the track, you want oil temperature warning. Sudden loss of oil pressure at full chat is usually momentarily followed by the sound of the engine eating itself.

Thanks- I might add others but specifically with this post, with the duratec combined with the nc’s ridiculous fake gauge I’m looking at pressure.

The Innovate ticks all the boxes, that’s a great recommend- thanks! I feel a bit like i can get 9/10ths of the benefits with cheaper gauges but I do like their stuff. I’ll put it in The List

Have a look here Welcome Think Automotive - bespoke automotive plumbing. They could have just what you need and have previously been very helpful on the phone regarding Caterhams so why not MX5s.
