Back in a 2 seater at last

Hi everyone, newbie here from Nottingham looking forward to joining local meetings and contributing to the forum with my 2022 manual 2.0 RF Sport Tech long term keeper.

I bought the car when I took early retirement 3 years ago but have waited till the dealer warranty expired to start making it my own. I’ve fitted a roof mod and will be looking at how to make the touchscreen work all the time. Under sealing is on the to do list in the summer along with a few road trips.

That looks really nice. Get the dremel and super glue out and make it your own like many people seem to do on here

You know I love you all really

Welcome! Looks really nice, what have you got planned for it? Also, what is the mod you have done to the roof?

I’m hoping to get inspiration from members forum posts to see what do next but definitely going to address the touchscreen locking out at 5mph.

I fitted an MX5 Things roof controller which has vastly improved the driving experience in my opinion. The roof now opens or closes with one touch, operates whilst in reverse and you can set a speed limit up to 30mph for it to work.

Quick update, a few minutes looking through the forum and the touchscreen is now sorted.

Works a treat, no more faffing around with the controller when Waze tells me there’s potholes ahead. Blooming marvellous.

Potholes ahead!!! The thing must go off every 10 seconds.

Just find the setting for no potholes and have 30 seconds of fun.

Welcome @Teleman and thanks for mentioning the touchscreen, I had given up on that long ago but following your post, I searched again and the outcome was excellent !!

Thanks Edoardo, the only downside I have found is fingerprints on the screen. Small price to pay though for the convenience.
