Hi, as i’m ready to “import” my NC in Spain i have to ask…is the rear exhaust (backbox?) of the 1.8 and the 2.0 the same? My actual is a IL motorsport with TUV certification but even that might not be enough for the Spanish ITV so i would like to be prepared if they reject it and …wose case scenario buy a used oem exhaust for that ITV . Silly thing is; once passed the ITV, you can “homologate” an aftermaket exhaust (at a certain cost off course…) but importing it means it has to be “original”.

Yes, the same on the 1.8 and 2.0.
People can’t give them away on Facebook if you search the MX5 NC/Mk 3 sites.
