Not sure whether this should also be in the servicing section … no doubt an eagle-eyed mod will move it if so. Asda instore are selling 1 litre bottles of Mobil 1 Super S 10W-40 semi-synth oil for just £3 each. Utter, utter, utter bargain. Usually sold as a semi-synth upgrade for Mk1, Mk2 and Mk2.5 engines - my Mk1 Eunos runs a treat on this! Halfords occasionally have this on offer at £19.99 for 5 litres, but it’s more usually £24.99 … MX5Parts price far more (£6.87 a litre!), making this well under half price.

 Yes - I saw this AFTER I bought 5 litres from Halfords.  Bugger. Sad

 Perhaps I should have got 3 litres for the next change?

Cheers for the heads up, just bought my 4ltrs at £12. Also bought Asda Synthetic 0/40w at £9.00 for 2L. What is the best to use where, I have a 93 1.6 Eunos high miler and a 96 1.8 very low miler Mk1. Hmmm decisions decisions.Huh?
