Battery health indicator mod?

Hi All, just wondering if theres an easy mod to understand your battery health?

I’ve suffered a dead battery at home, but it would have been a nightmare if happend on a road trip.
Just looking for an easy way of getting battery red flag on either instrument cluster or from an indicator in the boot or something like that. Ideally not under the hood.

You can buy and mount volt displays very cheaply. Why not under the bonnet,----- the hood is the canvas bit that stops you getting wet when it rains!!
A google search for ‘battery condition indicator’ will give you a good selection to chose from and you can mount them anywhere that you want as they only have two wires.

I use a C-tek one which connects to your mobile device via Bluetooth. However there are alternatives which do the same thing.
