Has anyone fitted a Battery Health Monitor ?
I don’t drive my ND evey day … Motorcycle wins in the sun :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: So wanted to know how my car battery was doing … battery drain can be a problem with an alarm and a tracker . This monitor helps plus it’s cheap as chips :french_fries:

Will be interested to hear how you get on.

Personally, if there is mains power available where the car lives, I’d put the money towards a C-Tek or similar trickle charger, which means that the battery will always be fully charged when you need it.

No mains … If only .
I’m sure it’s frowned upon to wire it to a street light

I’ve got exactly that battery monitor on my NC. It’s been on for about 9 months now and is an excellent bit of kit for a car which sits idle for long periods.

If I had to be critical, the bluetooth only has a range of a few feet, so you have to stand next to the car to get a reading; it obviously works when the phone and app are in the car when driving!

I use it in conjunction with a solar panel to keep the battery charged - there’s a previous thread about that elsewhere.

I have a solar panel on the “parcel shelf” so during the day if it’s parked up it can and does trickle charge the battery … My ND has never had a problem starting but my MK2.5 I had didn’t like being left for very long
