Hello everyone,

I took my car to an Auto Test the other week and during scrutineering the Marshall pointed out that the positive terminal on my battery didn’t have a cover on it. He let me compete this time but said I’d need to get a cover for the terminal before the next round to be allowed to participate.

Can anyone recommend a cover for the battery terminal? Either bodged or bought, I’m not too fussed. I’ve seen a few on Google, but not sure if these are the best option or not.

Me thinks something like this below might do the job. However you may have to re jig the battery post connection (fit new) to get it on.

Yeah, I was thinking it would be something like this. Hoping for a suggestion that doesn’t involve having to cut and re-crimp the connectors. Maybe I could use these and get creative with a Stanley knife and a cable tie
