Picked up a cheap v-spec at the weekend. Needed a bit of a cleanup but now it looks great.
One thing that lets it down is the 14inch BBS wheels, the centre caps are absent. After some trawling on the net it appears that these are as rare as hens teeth second hand and stupefyingly expensive brand new.
Seems my only option at the moment is to get some cheap reproduction caps from ebay to cover the centre hole. I reckon the inner diameter was about 58mm but not sure if I was getting an accurate measurement Anyone know the exact size I need to get?
If you’re still awaiting an answer tomorrow evening, I’ll pull off one of the centre caps from my S-Special (also 14" BBS) and measure the diameter of that if it helps.
expect to pay upwards of £25 a piece for the centre caps. they are expensive as the wheels. There are planty on ebay. 56mm is the diameter of the inner cap. Just cross check the part numbers which are all stamped on the back and you cant go wrong…good luck
I must be looking in the wrong place then as all I can see is one complete cap on ebay. Managed to find a set of caps to cover the centre holes so that should improve things.
