I’m not yet overly technical with cars yet but I’m learning as I go.
Does anyone know what size centre cap a BBS 15’’ wheel would be? I am missing one and about to buy a set but theres a few sizes.
OR can someone tell me what I am actually measuring? Face across the cap?
May sound really silly but I want to make sure to get the right replacement…

Ask the seller if it has these numbers on the back:
0923134: outer pressed alloy spoke patterned ring
0923133: black plastic two part locking ring
0923131: plastic hex nut part - these come either plated silver, or painted silver
5624073: BBS centre logo
BMW BBS wheel centres WILL NOT FIT MX5’s.

Does not have those numbers, they have a different number so I am assuming they will not fit in my wheel.
This is a hard and annoying task lol.

If it’s JUST the centre logo you need, 0924056 also fits.

Is that one of YOUR wheel centres?
What MX5 do you have? Perhaps a photo of the wheels and a close up of the rim and centre cap would help determine whether it is running genuine Mazda original fitment BBS’s, or they are from another car - BMW or VW maybe, in which case the info I’m giving you won’t be applicable.
The other obvious thing is to take off one of your centre caps and use the info moulded on the back to send to sellers.
No that was the sellers part.
Its a eunos roadster, definitely genuine it’s an import and everything is factory fitted currently.
I’ll give taking off a wheel a go or maybe ask the guys at mazda. I already looked for a touch up stick and they found that quite difficult as its an import. Think that’s why I’m having such bad luck finding parts.

Yep - genuine Mazda MX5/Eunos Roadster fitment BBS wheels, so those part numbers I gave you are correct. Same as mine.
So which part is missing exactly? Can you take a photo of THAT wheel?

I’ll take the centre out of one tomorrow and try and get some photos for you to use in your search.
It’ll just be a matter of patience I’m afraid.
Shame you weren’t looking a couple of weeks ago as there was an eBay seller with the right part, brand new old stock, selling in sets of four. Worked out about £10 each. I was tempted to buy them just for spares at that price!

Worst thing is it came off at SOME point when driving, only noticed the other day
