Wondered if any fellow 5’rs attending the track day at Bedford Autodrome on 29 October.
It’s my second time there, so happy to answer any questions regarding my previous (yet very limited) experience there, in case it helps.

Hi, I’ve been looking at going there for a while so may be up for joining. How much do you find it costs in total? I mean track day + anything you have to buy for your car, e.g. tyres, brakes, fluids, etc.
Lance, track day cost for 29/Oct is £179 total, for the day. That’s direct costs.
Then, you have the following expenses:
- Fuel: assume you’re using 1 tank
- Brake pads: depends on how hard and how long you ride, but you could be looking at burning the front pair (£20-30)
- Tyres: these last several track days, I wouldn’t worry that
- Fluids: if you are just starting, I would replace engine oil before the track, and just check brake fluid, coolant and power steering. Unless you start doing it frequently than I would think about a full flush
- Helmet: if you don’t have one, they rent for £10
