Beltline End Cap

I’ve just bought a ‘Beltline End Cap’ (effectively the end of the edging strip where  the roof joins the car) from MX5 parts for my 1992 mk1, as the current one, lovingly fitted by the dealer during his careful prep of the car, looks like it has been attacked by mole grips.

Unfortunately now i have it i have no idea how to fit … hopefully it doesn’t involve dismantling the roof !

Any advice would be appreciated

From memory, I think its secured behind the rainrail by a plastic stud.

Thanks for that. Finally got around to fixing… 

Just had to remove the metal bracket which the tonneau  cover clips to first.
