I can recommend Vredestein Sportrac 5 as a good all rounder, and sensibly priced too.

Are the Pirelli Cinturato P1 Verde any better?

I happen to have had a set of P1 Verde fitted to my Mk2, and was very happy with them. At least as good as the Vredestein, possibly easier to find as well. ‘H’ rating is fine (up to 130mph), but I prefer to use the higher speed ‘V’ rating.
I usually buy from Blackcircles, but you may find Kwik Fit has the Pirelli at a fair price.
